Educational Qualification:

To be eligible for CRPF Constable Recruitment 2023, candidates should have successfully finished their matriculation or possess an equivalent degree from a board or university recognise by either the Central Government or State Government.

  • General (General), Other Backward Classes (OBC), and Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) candidates have to pay an application fee of Rs. 100/-
  • However, candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Ex-Servicemen (ESM), and females are exempt from paying any application fee; it is Nil for these categories.

CRPF GD Constable Selection Process 2023

To become a Constable (General Duty) in CRPF, you must have to pass three important stages:

  • Physical Efficiency Test (PET): This is where you’ll have to prove your physical fitness.
  • Medical Examination: You’ll undergo a medical check-up to ensure you’re healthy for the role.
  • Written Examination: You’ll also need to pass a written test.

Important Note: If you used to work as an Agniveer, you don’t have to go through the Physical Efficiency Test (PET).

CRPF GD Constable Salary 2023

Once you successfully complete the recruitment process, you’ll be appointed as a Constable in CRPF. Your salary will be in the range of Rs. 21,700 to Rs. 69,100. This is the basic salary without considering the various extra benefits and allowances that Constables are entitled to. Keep in mind that there’s a probation period of 2 years for constable positions.
